Hi everyone, welcome back! I am so excited to share a shiny card I made for the Altenew Educator Certification Program. This card is in conjunction with the Altenew Academy – Let it Shine class (ALT). I am learning more about filming, editing, voice overs, photos, etc.; and I am getting more comfortable with sharing my projects in a video format. I hope you enjoy the creative process for this card…and a bonus second card shown in the video below!
What I loved the most about this class was using embellishments. Whether they’re shiny or not, the principle was the same and this was my biggest learning point from the entire class. I really enjoyed making this card, and I’m not shameful of the mistakes I made along the way. I’m lucky to end up with two cards instead of one (OR NONE)!
Thank you so mush for watching my video! Below is a listing of the Altenew products I used for these projects. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out over on IG (@jaycee.gaspar), YouTube, or in the comments below.

Great card Jaycee–love that you showed you didn’t like your card at first. I do that too, it often helps if I walk away or leave it overnight so the “magic” can happen and I look again and come up with a whole new concept! I love your “science” explanations, please keep them coming. I have to admit, I’m a science and especially anatomy nerd, but goes along with my profession in the medical field. I had a patient tell me that she feels my being “artsy” helps me think outside of the box and be more creative with figuring out the problem and in my treatments.
