Hey everyone, welcome back! I’m so excited to join Altenew for the August 2019 Build-a-Flower: Bellflower Release (ALT) and Blog Hop! Thanks so much to my good friend Nenette S Madero for relaying you over to my blog. If you get lost along the way or want to relive the amazing inspiration from the team of designers for this release, head back over to the Altenew Card Blog to find the complete blog list.
I get a lot of my content ideas from you all, and I am very fortunate that you are engaged in my YouTube channel, Insta, and my blog. I’ve had many requests on a floral arrangement video on my to-do list for a while, so thank you for being patient. The Altenew BAF Bellflower (ALT) worked perfectly to showcase my three tips on creating stamped floral arrangements for cards. Watch the video below and then keep going to find out how to enter the generous giveaway from Team Altenew!
These three tips are not limited to floral cards. Try them with your cute character images, 3D dies, stencils, etc. The guidelines are the same no matter what you use. This is just a perspective, if you love making circular wreaths, or love the way your flowers look in pairs, by all means DO IT. I have definitely disobeyed these rules on my own projects and I’m still proud to share them or give them away. These directions come from the unity of mathematics and art; inspired by High Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, as well as linear composition. If you give this a try, make sure you tag me over on IG (@jaycee.gaspar)!

do these cubes have much ink in them???

Hi Sandy. I guess it’s hard to answer that question. I’ve had some of my mini ink cubes since the beginning of the year. I make cards on a near daily basis and haven’t had to refill them yet. Luckily all the Altenew inks have ink refills if you are one to use them often.
