Before we get into the cards I made for this release, let me plug the Build-a-Flower (BAF) Subscription offered by Altenew (ALT). The BAF contains the wonderful stamp set and die bundle. I think it is a phenomenal saving considering that I love floral stamp sets and when mixed with your favorite inks, you can create endlessly beautiful card projects. When signed up, you are guaranteed a spot in the monthly BAF releases and will receive a set each month – at a specially discounted price! ($35.00 → $29.99)

The BAF: Triumph Tulip and Ink Bundle is fabulous for those of you who are new to the Altenew brand (ALT). The Crisp Dye Inks from Altenew layer beautifully on this stamp set and this bundle is at a 5% discount.

When I am playing around with a new Build-a-Flower, I usually stamp many elements at once to get used to the layering capacity of the image. In this case, I stamped four colored tulips total and split them between two cards. Following the same principal; I stamped two grey flowers and split them between two cards. This way, I get to formulate different arrangements and card layouts!

To contrast from the first tulip arrangements, I also opted for a bold card with heavy black and white stripes and nearly fluorescent florals and foliage. I thought this color combination was a perfect way to celebrate the first Build-a-Flower from Altenew in 2020! Be on the lookout for a Perfect Pairing with Jaycee using this BAF soon. Which of the three cards is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Hi Jaycee! Card number one is my favorite but two is great too with that fantastic die behind it. I love your bold and beautiful card and think anyone would love to receive any of these cards! Maybe you can do a feature on this in your video series 🙂 !!
