The first card I made features the Bold Greetings Stand-alone Die Set. The bold font gave me retro vibes, so I thought I’d play with a vintage palette. Since I follow Ms. McGuire in the blog hop list, I had to do a rainbow card as well. I created a rainbow ombré panel using the 36 Watercolor Pan Set from Altenew, die cut the ‘hello’ greeting, and stacked them on top of a circle embossed panel of kraft cardstock.

For my final card, I created a geometric arrangement to frame the die cut floral arrangement. I used the outline images from Altenew Remember This Stamp and Die Set stamped in permanent black ink. I added subtle white details to the flower petals to help highlight them. Then after die cutting all the elements, I cut the black diamond frames to give an edgy modern look to this card.

  1. I like the use of the craft card stock. It produces a very understated, yet handsome card in the second card that has real interest because of the use of the diamond dies. You made me need the purchase them!

  2. I love this release and I love your cards. My favorite is the second one — the black on kraft is so elegant, and those Fine Frames diamonds are wonderful.

  3. Oh my! I LOVE the eye catching diamond and flowers card. Great gallery appeal. Love the no color look, the black with the kraft, and the layered flowers. Beautiful.

  4. Your cards are always so pleasing to the eye!! I really enjoyed how you used the “hello,” which really gets the ideas moving. The kraft card is awesome, too, and can be used for so many occasions. Thank you for sharing your creative talents and your wonderful video presentations!
