For my first card project in this release, I kept the arrangement simple with the Rolled Roses Die Set. I die cut the flowers and foliage with pink and copper papers and adhered them directly onto a deep navy cardstock. I used the Envelope Art Stamp Set to create a sentiment banner. On this banner, I stamped one of the sentiments from Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set for a quick and easy thank you card.

The Altenew Embossing Paste is one of my favorites. It is easy to spread, light-weight, and holds its shape well after drying. I mixed the embossing paste with a drop of the Watercolor Brush Marker Refills from Altenew on top of a patterned background I made using Simple Fruits Stamp Set. Those raindrops? They’re actually seeds from the previously mentioned stamp sets. I thought these two sentiments from the Sentiment Strips 2 Stamp Set paired perfectly with the Over the Rainbow Stencil.

I love this Statement Flowers Stamp and Die Set. Lately I’ve been matting a lot of my cards on a black frame, and I thought these large blooms deserved the same treatment to complement the bold outlines. I used the Altenew Artist Markers to only color the petals, leaving the rest of the image uncolored for a more sophisticated feeling.

For my last card, I used the Mixed Sprinkles stencil to create a fun and bold background. I used the background as the base for my shaker card. Since Altenew’s Make A Statement Release contains a sequin bundle, I used those in my shaker window for an interactive card.
