My first two card projects showcase the Happy Birthday Sentiments Stamp and Die Sets. For the first project I used the few Distress Oxide colors I have and stamped the older Simple Blossoms Stamp and Die Set for a floral arrangement. Then I stamped the Floral Diamond Background Rubber Stamp in a white pigment ink on kraft colored cardstock. I stamped and die cut the Happy Birthday sentiment and framed it within a bundle of white thread.

For the second card project, I broke out my alcohol inks and made a very simple background. I used a liquid glue to apply transfer foil onto the background for a geode look. Finally I heat embossed the Happy Birthday sentiments and framed them within a bundle of gold thread and sequins.

For my final card project I made a floral arrangement using the Friendship Blooms Stamp and Die Sets. I stamped all the images in an alcohol marker friendly ink and colored the images using Copic Markers. I made a partial stamped background of the Diamond Tiles Rubber Stamp and overlayed the flower arrangement on top. I white heat embossed one of the coordinating sentiments in Friendship Blooms Stamp Set to finish this card.

  4. Your cards are all so beautiful and different. I am always a fan of white on kraft…but I never seem to remember to stamp colors on kraft, which is what makes your flowers so unique and lovely! And that geo card! Wow! I don’t own alcohol inks, but they fascinate me. And your last card is so soft and pretty. I like the fade out of the background, the splatter, and the unexpected blue leaf. SO inspiring!

  5. As much as I like the last card with the flowers, I really am drawn to the one with the alcohol background. Wonderful creations!
