Hey everyone! I’m so excited to join Altenew for the brand new Paint-a-Flower: Clematis, Artist Marker Release (ALT) and Blog Hop! Thanks so much to Erum at the Altenew Blog for relaying you over to my blog. If you want to relive the amazing project ideas from the team of designers for this release, head back over to the Altenew Card Blog or keep reading to find the complete blog list. Don’t miss the wonderful giveaway opportunities as well–more on that down below!

Paint-a-Flower: Clematis | Artist Marker Release

I immediately drew inspiration from the Artist Marker packaging for both the Sunshine Valley Garden and Water Garden Marker Sets. The Sunshine Valley Garden Set of Artist Markers features Flower Garden Stamp Set and Water Garden Set of Artist Markers features Nature Blossoms Stamp Set. I paired both of the stamp sets with other favorites of mine that I thought would go well together.

I started with Sunshine Valley Garden Artist Marker Set F. The two stamp sets I have featured on this card are Flower Garden Stamp Set and Perfectly Perfect Stamp Set. I thought the rose-like and daisy-like flowers looked beautiful and showcased the bright palette of markers. I finished this card with coordinating ink from one of the ink pads in Green Valley Crisp Ink Set.

The Water Garden Artist Marker Set G is a little more unconventional for flowers and foliage–but I think that is what makes this final card exciting. The two stamp sets I have featured on this card are Nature Blossoms and Grateful Heart Stamp Sets. Like the previous card, I finished with coordinating splatters from the Delectable Delights Crisp Ink set.

  1. Gorgeous PAF set, beautiful marker colors and amazing inspiration! Love all the details you added to this wonderful cards Jaycee, wonderful coloring! Thanks for sharing!

  2. I really like how you left white space in your petals. Many flowers have variations that are multicolored or have striped veining. This is a great way to get that look on cards. Thank you for posting.

  3. Your cards are beautiful and I love the way you colored them. I have stayed away from alcohol markers because i thought they were too expensive and that I didn’t need them. Now I wonder! LOL

  4. JC, these cards are amazing! The new alcohol marker release and new paint a flower stamps are lovely. Thanks for the inspiration.

  5. Jaycee
You always inspire me with what you create. Love the way you play with colour and your flowers are just so delightful.
The designs you create with your florals today are just beautiful.
    Thank you as always.

  6. I love how you created variegated versions of the blossoms. The amount of white remaining in the petals lightens the arrangements and the mood of the card. Two happy cards with intriguing colors. Thanks for the inspiration.

  7. It’s nice seeing beautiful floral cards even though it is still cold February here. You did a wonderful job coloring the images. I am loving this new Altenew release!!!!

  8. Those are two beautiful cards. I really love the colors and they way you placed them on the card. I know that is something I need to work on. Placement is important !

  9. Your coloring is so lovely! I always like unexpected colors for leaves! And it’s been awhile since I used the Flower Garden stamps. I’m inspired to pull those out!
