Wildflower Paper Crafting Collection Release

I made two scrapbook pages for this release. Lately I have been trying to use my patterned papers more often instead of letting them sit around staying beautiful. For my first layout, I stitched together strips of the 6X6 patterned paper in a sigmoidal arrangement on top of a 12X12 white panel.
Stitching the paper strips made a bunch of ‘pockets.’ I tucked in ephemera into the paper pockets that I made following the lines of the paper strips. Finally I arranged my photo on top with even more ephemera and added page titles. Then I finished the arrangement with some Cosmic Berry Metallic Shimmer Spray Splatters.

The photo I took for this layout only showed part of my face. That’s how I had to sacrifice the photo so that we all fit onto a 2X3 inch photo paper. I used that to my advantage by first sewing strips of ripped 12X12 Wildflower patterned paper to the bottom third of my white 12X12 layout. Then I tucked in all the ephemera pieces from the Pink Posy Ephemera Pack into the pockets like the previous layout.
I always try to preserve as much of the die cut ephemera as I can, so I may have cut pieces here and there and used them throughout the layout so that I can over crowd my page. I added embossed labels to the die cut ephemera to make complete sentences. I finished this page with splatters from Puffy Heart Metallic Shimmer Spray.
Side Note: for both of these layouts I used the Instant Dimension Foam Tape. That stuff is awesome. If I had this tape before, I would have never switched to using large sheets of craft foam. The adhesive is SO strong and the foam is not dense and hard, making it ideal for automated post rollers.

Great LOs Jaycee! The color palette of this collection is very pretty. Love that the papers include florals, geometric and subdued designs. The ephemera sets are perfect to craft on the go ( specially long road trips 😬) or to create quick beautiful projects with ease! Thanks for the inspiration!

Love your layout using these gorgeous new papers. I have to confess, I’m a PP hoarder–I’m now trying to be good and cut up all that paper and make a bunch of cards. But alas, I just received an Altenew order that included yet another set of gorgeous papers. I’ve told myself I need to make at least 1 card/day to donate or give to elderly family members in care center for them to send out. It’s my goal for May!

Fabulous layout. I too save my beautiful patterned paper and love how you used yours! Your second page is great- we all have to make sure we write names since faces aren’t so easy to identify with masks, don’t you think?

What a fun page! I don’t take selfies, but I can’t remember when I took a photo that didn’t cut off part of the subject, so your photo looks quite natural to me.
