Folktales & Stories March 2022 Stamp Collection

Folktales & Stories Full Release Bundle

Endlessly Flowing Geometric Floral Card

The Endless Florescence Stamp and Die Bundle creates a beautifully large statement floral focal point on any card. These images are easy to color with your favorite Altenew Artist Markers. I left the majority of this image uncolored for a soft and muted mood.

I knew there was going to be a busy background with Geometric Botany Stamp Set. I did not want my sentiment to get lost despite the large floral element and lacy background. In the end, I am thrilled with the balance of flowing geometric elements, the two-toned color palette, and how the sentiment is nestled in the bouquet.

How to Make This Card

  1. Stamp the Geometric Botany Stamp Set onto a white A2 sized panel using Limestone Crisp Dye Ink.
  2. Add Jet Black Ink Spray splatters to the geometric background and set aside.
  3. Stamp the large floral cluster from Endless Florescence Stamp Set in Limestone Crisp Dye Ink.
  4. Color selective elements of the floral bouquet using Space Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set I and Warm Gray Artist Markers from Marker Set B for the flowers and leaves/flower centers, respectively.
  5. Die cut the flower cluster using the Endless Florescence Coordinating Die.
  6. Use Instant Dimension Foam Tape to mount and cut the colored Endless Florescence image so that it fits on the geometric background.
  7. Finish the card with a coordinating sentiment and Essential Black & White Enamel Dots.

Sanrio® Inspired Cat Card

Sanrio® is the creator and designer of familiar ‘cute’ Japanese characters–Hello Kitty being their most recognized kawaii symbol. There is a certain aesthetic to this Japanese design that I borrowed for this card. The design elements I focused on were color blocking, clean backgrounds, and statement focal points.

How to Make This Card

  1. Stamp all the Cat Life Stamp and Die Bundle images onto a panel of Spicy Yogurt Cardstock. I used Permanent Black Ink for my stamped outlines.
  2. Align and stamp the coordinating spot layers to the cats in Limestone Crisp Dye Ink.
  3. Align and stamp the solid embellishment layers (handkerchief, yarn ball…) in Crismson Crisp Dye Ink.
  4. Add blush to the cats with Blush Altenew Artist Marker. Die cut the images with the coordinating Cat Life Die Set.
  5. Arrange all the images, foam mounting some of the cats with Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
  6. Add a sentiment from Label Love Stamp Set inked in Permanent Black Crisp Ink.

  4. Your work is always excellent and something that I want to try for myself, this time it’s the neutral flower bunch. Seems risky, but yours is lovely. TFS

  5. Nice project shares. I like the design ideas for the sets. Good cut of the longer set to overlap and the color combination.
