Pure Gold SIMPLE Outline Card
The inspiration from this simple embossed card comes from the ‘Take Care’ sentiment.
Story time: Take Care is one of my favorite songs from Rihanna and Drake. Maybe it reminds me of my carefree time at University. Either way, the song Take Care is on the album of the Rap same name. It features Drake in an opulent room adorned with gold details.
So thus the gold details, the simplicity, getting lost in the illustration of Florescence…arose this simple card.
With the song in mind, I used the Florescence Project Kit to make a very simple white heat embossed outline card. The hardest part of this card was making the mask where the two images overlap in the center. Then I added the ‘Take Care’ sentiment to the center of my card.
How To Make This No Outline Floral Card
- Gold heat emboss the Take Care sentiment from Florescence Project Kit onto white cardstock. Make a sentiment banner and set aside.
- On a brushed or mirror gold A2 sized panel, Pure White heat emboss the chrysanthemum/daisy/poppy cluster.
- Make a mask of the same illustration. I used Altenew Masking Paper.
- Rotate the gold embossed panel 180 degrees if using a stamp positioning tool.
- Apply the mask to the already stamped white embossed image.
- Symmetrically Pure White heat emboss the image.
- Use Instant Dimension Foam Tape to raise the ‘Take Care’ sentiment banner.
