October 2022 Marvelous Monthly Series
Craft-A-Flower: Epiphyllum
Fun fact, my top three flowers in order of beautiful appearance are: roses, peonies, and night blooming jasmine. The Epiphyllum‘s interesting floral anatomy and night blooming habit are so enticing. I have always admired this flower for its sun ray-like bloom.
I have one Epiphyllum in my home garden, but sadly my Epiphyllum ‘Over The Top’ has yet to bloom for me. My card is a recreation of the color palette.

Mini Delight: Wild Geraniums
The Mini Delight: Wild Geraniums has become one of my new favorites in the small stamp set collection. I love how these small floral motifs and simple foliage make perfect pairings with sentiments. I added the Wild & Free Sentiment to play on the wild aspect of the geranium Mini Delight.

Paint-A-Flower: Waterlily Dahlia
In early August I visited the Dahlia Garden in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. It was a definite treat and I was inspired by the variety of blooms for future card projects. The cultivar I borrowed the color palette from is ‘Karma Choc’ Dahlia for its blood red petals and spruce green foliage.
