Stencils are a great way to make Clean and Simple (CAS) cards. The Altenew July 2019 Release is no exception to that. In fact, I was able to come up with ideas for an entire year’s worth of United States holidays using this product launch. So these stencils are extremely versatile! I have a video below on how to make beautifully handmade cards using this release. Keep going after the video to find additional Altenew products used and to enter the generous giveaway from Altenew. Enjoy!
Have more ideas on how to use these stencils? Be sure to leave a comment on this blog post for a chance to win a gift card to the Altenew online shop! Thank you for your comments, questions, and stories that you all leave on my blog, YouTube and IG. I always enjoy reading and interacting with you all.

Altenew – Diamond Builder Stencil (ALT) is a great way of using your layering ink sets to create dimension on a one-layer card. However, I decided that part of the layering image looked like evergreen trees–perfect for Holiday themed cards.

I love the modern look of this Altenew – On the Plus Side (ALT) Stencil. For almost this entire release, I added hand-drawn elements to highlight the patterns of some of these stencils. I enjoyed the graphic look of adding these details, and luckily there’s no drawing skill required.

I turned the Altenew – Beach Towel Stripes (ALT) Stencil into a barcode. This CAS card is perfect to give to someone who is beautifully unique. Who would make this card for?

If you frequently visit my blog, IG, YT…you’ll know the art of the cosmos is totally my vibe. So I deconstructed this endless realm into a CAS card using Altenew – Milky Way (ALT) Stencil.

The Altenew – Buffalo Plaid Builder (ALT) Stencil ended up being one of my other favorites from this release. Something about plaid reminds me of winter and autumn, but I made this card for any occasion! Below are all the ink families I used to make this rainbow.

Did anyone else use stencils to trace objects in grade school? It is what I remember doing most with stencils and so I thought offsetting the Altenew – Wonderful Wreath (ALT) Stencil in front of the ink blended leaves made the card look more graphic.

Altenew – Doily Frame (ALT) Stencil pairs perfectly with any of your well loved Altenew floral sets. I decided to use it to frame this large sentiment for a monochromatic green-scale card. I like that I could change the colors to suit the recipient if needed!

I haven’t really been into stencils but your use of them has totally changed my mind. Who doesn’t love your little trees and the special treatment you’ve given the wreath…I can’t wait to get my hands on these stencils.

Your creative process to make your cards is so inspiring! I love how you add stencils to make them the total focus of the card. My favorite stencil in this set… is now a four way tie, your use of the diamond builder stencil and the bubble wrap; showing the versatility of both placed them up there with the milky way and wreath stencils. I could watch you create all day! thank you!

You truly created some amazing things using the new stencil release from July 2019. I absolutely love the beautiful inside stamp set, and can see it being a must-have. We all can use some encouragement from time to time and this is a great set for that.

Love the creative ways you used these stencils. I definitely need to start looking at my stencils differently. As for my favorite … it has to be the Moon with the Milky Way card. Great timing, too, given the recent anniversary of the first Moon landing. Thanks for sharing all your amazing ideas!
