Happy Fall everyone! Today is release day at Waffle Flower and I am so excited to be sharing the Waffle Flower – October 2019 Collection with you (WF)! I hope that you had a chance to check out the introductions this week on the Waffle Flower Blog and are ready to see all the goodies in action!
This month, Waffle Flower is excited to celebrate Fall with three sets from the amazing illustrator Cassie Loizeaux: Happy Fall (stamp, die, combo), Thankful Mouse Stamp Set (stamp) and Fall Greetings (stamp, die, combo). There’s also the beautiful Fall foliage set Happy Thanksgiving Stamp Set (stamp) from JJ Bolton. For flower aficionados there’s the lovely Peony Bouquet (stamp, die, combo) and A Little Note (stamp, die, combo) sets from Karla Jodoin. As a perfect companion to the flower sets, there is the Lattice Panel Die (stand alone die). From the travel series by Kamo, there are two sets this month, Ni Hao (China) (stamp, die, combo) and Ciao (Italy) (stamp, die, combo). To add to your sentiment collection, there’s the Oversized Thank You (stamp, die, combo) with a beautiful script font. To get you ready to work on your holiday card reserves, there are the new Forestscape Panel Die (stand alone die), Go Girl Winter Die (dies) and Holiday Hugs (stamp, die, combo).
For more details on the release, be sure to check out the monthly release video or check out the introductions on the Waffle Flower blog!

Here is my first project for this release. I love the little lanterns included in this combo. I added some regular embroidery floss for a fun textural tassel and brushed out the twist so that the floss remained separate.

For these cards I used both the positive and the negative die cut pieces from Waffle Flower – Lattice Panel Die to give me two different backgrounds. For the card on the left, I stacked and heat embossed the Waffle Flower – Oversized Thank You Die with a rose gold pigment and added it on top of a “dip dyed” die cut lattice panel. Using the negative pieces from the die cut lattice panel, I created a second panel with plus signs and added flowers using Waffle Flower – A Little Note Combo.

Now, I wont say too much about these three cards. I will say that I used the Waffle Flower – Happy Fall Combo to create these three projects. They all have something in common and I can’t wait to share my guest video for this release–so stay tuned! The video is now embedded below! I hope you enjoy the process of making these three cards using the small stamps included in your beautiful Waffle Flower combos!

All your cards are great and my favourite is the first one with the tasselled lanterns! Or maybe it’s the pumpkin pi one – so clever!

All of your new releases are wonderful. In the go girl sets I love the winter set and the winter card with the inlays of the girl in the ski mask and helmet is fantastic!
