Hey everyone! After moving, setting up the craft room, and getting more furniture for the craft room, I’ve gotten to a point where I can return to card making. It’s time for the September 2020 Stamp Release, which means I’m so excited to join Altenew for the brand new Beauty of the Season Stamp/Die/Stencil/Embossing Folders Release (ALT) and Blog Hop! Thanks so much to Nenette S Madero for relaying you over to my blog. I am your last stop on this line-up of inspiration from my crafty friends. If you want to relive the amazing project ideas from the team of designers for this release, head back over to the Altenew Card Blog or keep reading to find the complete blog list.

For my first card project, colored the outline image in Positive Vibes Stamp Set with some Copic Markers and supplemented the image with Polychromos Colored Pencils. In order to preserve the detail in the image, I used Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink to ensure the image did not bleed while coloring. I added some Jet Black splatters and a coordinating sentiment to finish this one layer card.

I enjoyed making this large card because it is completely fool-proof in its design. I made a large watercolor panel using the Watercolor 9X12 Paper Pad and the Autumn Festival Watercolor Brush Markers. I stamped and heat embossed the outline leaf images in Platinum Crisp Embossing Powder and die cut the images. After arranging the leaves in a wreath formation, I added the Mega Label Love Birthday sentiment in the center. The card base itself is 6X6 inches, but the final card dimensions are roughly 8X8 inches–making this the largest card I have ever made…I’m going to need to make a custom envelope for this card.
