Hey everyone! It’s time for the July 2021 Stamp Release, which means I’m so excited to join Altenew for the brand new Thanks and Blessings Stamp Collection (ALT) and Blog Hop! Thanks so much to the legendary Jennifer McGuire for relaying you over to my blog. If you want to relive the amazing project ideas from the team of designers for this release, head back over to the Altenew Card Blog or keep reading to find the complete blog list. Don’t miss the wonderful giveaway opportunities as well–more on that down below!

Thanks and Blessings Collection

I was having a color block and simple color palette moment with the Thanks and Blessings Stamp Release. I was thinking of very simple color schemes with colors that are not quite my favorite (orange and purple) #sorrynotsorry.

For my first card, I showcased the geometric pattern from Geo Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder. I inked the debossed side of the embossing folder with Frayed Leaf Mixed Media Ink. I paired this very simple background with a sentiment from Bold Greetings Die Set.

Materials and Supplies

Geo Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder

Mixed Media Inks

Jewel Tone Cardstock Sampler

Bold Greetings Die Set

I made this very simple scene with Bird of the Woods Stamp and Die Set. I was thinking of a more graphic mood when layering this bird and branch portrait. I paired this cool color tone scheme with a wreath stencil to help frame the arrangement.

Materials and Supplies

Bird of the Woods Stamp & Die Bundle

Wonderful Wreath Stencil

Jewel Tone Cardstock Sampler

Geometric Landscape Product

Sugarplums Mini Ink Cube Set

For my last card I went strictly monotone. I wanted to showcase the beautifully detailed outlines and images themselves. I framed this romantic scene with white splatters and a simple sentiment banner. I still struggle with purple, but I ended up loving the single tone use of this color.

Materials and Supplies

Rose Tea Stamp Die Bundle

Jewel Tone Cardstock Sampler

Metallic Thread Set

Pure White Ink Spray

  1. Great job! Thanks for participating in the blog hop – so much fun to see all the different ideas and techniques. I like your tone-on-tone look.

  2. The monotone colors of the floral card really make it elegant, yet so simple. The Geo card is a great color scheme. Thanks for jumpstarting some ideas!
