Craft Your Life: Feathered Lilies Project Kit

Floral beauty and messages of love all in one! The stamp set features a beautiful bouquet of lilies, elaborate leaves, and baroque elements. The minimalist style is a colorist’s dream, as it provides plenty of open space to add coloring and shading. Not a coloring enthusiast? Our coordinating coloring stencils make adding color sweet and simple. Finally, we have maximized this stamp set with tons of sentiments so you can stay in touch with your loved ones.

Bohemian & Gold ‘Hello’ Card

I wanted to showcase as much of the beautiful floral motif as I could on my A2 sized card front. I started by gold heat embossing two of the main image clusters on white cardstock. After die cutting the gold heat embossed images, I used the accompanying embossing folders to quickly color the gold outlines.

I ran the gold embossed Feathered Lilies through the accompanying 3D embossing folder to apply texture first. This ensured that my images were aligned properly to the 3D embossing folder. Then, I used Antique Gold Pigment Ink to apply ink onto the deboss side of the 3D embossing folder. I repeated this for both images.

While the pigment ink dried, I made a quick background with Peach Gold Washi Tape and trimmed it to the size of an A2 card front. I cut and arranged the two gold embossed and dry embossed Feathered Lilies images on top of my Peach Gold Washi Tape background. I foam mounted the images to preserve the texture on top of my card front.

To finish this card, I white heat embossed one of the coordinating sentiments from Feathered Lilies Project Kit onto gold mirror cardstock. I did not embellish this card or apply any other elements. This was so I could showcase the Feathered Lilies motifs and the beautiful texture from the coordinating 3D embossing folder.
