Altenew

I am sharing a video for Altenew – Peaceful Reverie Stamp/Die/Stencil Bundle. This set of cards is inspired by Geometric Tattoos and Sacred Geometry. I wanted to share my personal aesthetic and an art style that I am really excited about. Keep going for more cards from this release as well as links to shop from Altenew!

Peaceful Reverie

Here are the final images from the card in the video. I just love the minimal and modern look to these cards.

Forever in Love

Outline images always call for no-outline coloring. I used a mix of Altenew Artist Markers, Copic Markers, and colored pencils to complete this arrangement.

I love using die cut inlay techniques when working with larger stamps. Makes for easy mass production with a bold impact. Who else loves to die cut inlay?

Sentiment Strips

I’ve also used many of these sentiments in projects already. I love using them because of their uniform height to make labels on card projects. I can’t get enough of the modern font as well!

This card will feature a technique all on its own in the very near future. I was inspired by quartz, geodes, and crystals to make this floral arrangement. For some reason I saw this stamp set and couldn’t resist the jewel tone combination.

  1. I really enjoyed watching your video and seeing your specific inspirations. Knowing the backstory make an already pretty card so much more interesting to me. And wow, I was not expecting so many other cards on the blogpost! Your coloring of the big bouqet is gorgeous, and I really like the look of the large patterns in pastel colors. Thanks for sharing these great projects with us!

  2. Loved your geometric cards and video. Very unique and beautiful. I love the way you added your personal style to make your cards more meaningful. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. I believe that all your cards are beautiful. Thing of it is is that they are brilliant white. Too much light? Exposure? Don’t know, but I hope future cards will not be brilliant white. I’ve seen others at your site and they are tremendously gorgeous. You have much artistic creativity.

  6. You are such an accomplished artist, Jaycee, along with being a great card maker. I love how you incorporate your science knowledge into your designs, and how you share that information with us as you construct your cards. I totally love those first two cards, and the multiple other cards are gorgeous as well. Thank you so much for your very instructive video! I will give this technique a try for sure!

  9. You certainly showed a lot of great designs using the new release. The Peaceful Revelry looks so modern the way you masked & stamped with the extra designs, and the Leaf Clusters look so versatile.
