To accompany the Healthcare Heroes and Grocery Heroes stamp set is this Postal Heroes Stamp Set. I love that even if you don’t encounter the same postal worker on a regular basis, this stamp sets coordinating sentiments suit a variety of occasions. I used the Buffalo Plaid Builder stencil to add a postal envelope “United States Postal Service” edge to this card. Then I used the Delicate Polka Dots Washi Tape to add hints of packaging tape for a fun handmade feel.

I got the inspiration for this card and color palette from my boss’ blouse. It had this no outline look to the flowers and stark contrast in the petals and leaves. I added additional layers of Artist Markers to intensify some of the petals and give a bit more variation between the two flowers. I finished this card with black splatters, enamel dots, and a beautiful sentiment from Signature Words Die Set.

The instant I previewed this Goldfish Pond Stamp Set, I imagined a scene with a traditional Eastern watercolor look. I watercolored the goldfish to a koi fish color palette and even added gold elements where I could. To make the water background, I sloppily added areas of color onto vellum, then used drops of isopropyl alcohol to help the ink lift and move–similar to liquid alcohol marker refill inks on yupo type paper.

  1. Wonderful cards! Love that there’s a stamp set for the hardworking postal workers! Your floral cards always blow me away! Love the goldfish card too, such a great set!

  2. Excellent cards! I especially like your technique for creating the water and the texture you added to the fish from the “Goldfish Pond” stamp set. It definitely feels like a traditional Japanese illustration! Thank you for participating & sharing your designs with us!
