Hey everyone, welcome back! It’s the first of the month, which means I’m so excited to join Altenew for the brand new August 2021 Build-a-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia (ALT) and Blog Hop! Build-a-Flower: Fashion Monger Dahlia

For my card project, I played more with the idea of spotlight coloring my bouquet. I did this previously with my Build-a-Flower: Bearded Iris card. I picked a triad of complementary colors as my color palette to highlight the flowers and sentiment.

I fussy cut the flowers and used the coordinating dies to cut the outline of the leaves. I added extra smaller foliage from Leaf Clusters Stamp Set and stamped those images in Jet Black Crisp Ink.

I foam mounted the flowers on top of the die cut and stamped leaves. I added my sentiment to the bottom left corner of my card front and embellished the bouquet with coordinating enamel dots.
