Hey everyone, welcome back! We are close to finishing another loop around the Sun. To celebrate, my Altenew friends are having a huge blog hop to reminisce and showcase some of our favorite projects from the past year. If you are following the blog hop order, you should have come from Ishani‘s page. Otherwise, head back over to the Altenew Card Blog for the full list of my Altenew friends participating in this hop. Even though this is not a new release, Altenew is still generous with their fans. So make sure you stick around to the end of this post to find out the details of the giveaway.

Craft-a-Flower: Carolina Allspice

Starting from the top left of my collage is Craft-a-Flower: Carolina Allspice. I enjoyed making this dark color palette with the Jewel Tones Crisp Dye Ink Set. I was able to mix some of my existing colors in my Altenew ink stash to make the right shade of burgundy.

Exotic Blooms Marker Coloring Book + Monochrome Shading Pencils

I love a greyscale card. Familiarizing myself with color value helps control the color composition on my cards. Luckily, coloring these gardenias was a breeze with the beautiful illustration on the Exotic Blooms Marker Coloring Book.

Pots and Plants Stamp and Die Bundle

I have an indoor house plant collection in my home, many of them being from the Araceae family. I modeled and colored the Pots and Plants stamp set to mirror my greenery. From left to right, I have a Dieffenbachia, Dracaena marginata “Colorama,” and Aglaonema. I easily colored all of these images with Altenew artists markers on kraft colored cardstock.
