Gardens Around the World April 2022 Stamp Collection
Gradient Glitter Striped Background Card

I started with a simple background of Pink Brilliance Gradient Cardstock to showcase the NEW Leaf Canopy Add-On Stamp and Die Bundle. I love that this miniature set perfectly pairs with other items in your Altenew stash, whether it is sentiments or floral elements. Of course this stamp is meant to accompany the original Leaf Canopy Stamp and Die Bundle.
How to Make This Card
- Cut the Pink Brilliance Gradient Cardstock into 1/4″ strips.
- Cover an A2 sized panel in double sided adhesive.
- Lay and adhere each strip of the pink glitter cardstock strip onto the sticky background, keeping the colors in a repeating pattern. Trim off overhang and set aside.
- White heat emboss both images from Leaf Canopy Add-On Stamp onto gold cardstock. Use the coordinating die to cut the images.
- Die cut and stack the Hello sentiment die from the Envelope Liner Die Set from white cardstock.
- Arrange the die cut sentiment and leaves. Add embellishments like Enchanted Gold Thread and Satin Gold Sequins.

Sumi-e Japanese Ink Painting Card

I spent a little bit of my childhood in Japan. The art style and history had a huge impact on my life and my perception of compositions. I borrowed scene building elements and techniques from Sumi-E–the Japanese ink wash painting style.
How to Make This Card
- Ink blend a red circular area on a panel of A2 white cardstock.
- On this same background panel, use images from Meadow Reflections Stamp Set to build the scene.
- HINT: Stamp foreground elements in darker colors and background elements in lighter colors to give the illusion of depth on a one layer scene.
- Apply gradients of color using the Hawaiian Shores Pen Set to add details onto the stamp.
- Add Jet Black Ink Spray splatters to the scene and glue to a folded note card base.
- Die cut and foam mount one of the butterfly images from Meadow Reflections
- Add a coordinating sentiment stamped in the same color as the red circular area as Step 1.

Simple Nebula Scene Card

The celestial stamp sets (To The Moon, Mini Moon, Splatter Constellations…etc.) are some of my favorite images from Altenew. Assembling this scene was so easy. I love that the NEW Small World Stamp Set has a white embossed layer for the clouds to give a realistic globe.
How to Make This Card
- Adhere the Watercolor Nebula Wide Washi Tape to an A2 Panel.
- Stamp and layer the Small World Stamp to color the globe image.
- HINT: Apply black marker to the white gap from the die cut to make a more seamless blend into the nebula background.
- Using a small circle die, messily apply a light grey ink to white cardstock and die cut. This is your small moon image.
- White heat emboss and die cut the coordinating ‘world’ sentiment.
- Arrange all three elements (Moon, Earth, and sentiments) on top of the nebula background.

Simple Die Cut Greenhouse Scene Card

This greenhouse die set coordinates with the next project in this release. I used the NEW Classic Greenhouse Die Set as my focal point. I framed this beautiful die with the NEW Midsummer Bouquet Stamp Set for a modern scene.
How to Make This Card
- Stamp the Midsummer Bouquet image onto a panel of Spicy Yogurt Cardstock using a Warm Grey Ink.
- Color just the leaves in a Warm Grey Artist Marker.
- Die cut and stack the Classic Greenhouse using a dark grey and black cardstock, following the layering guide.
- Using a liquid glue that dries tacky, apply sparingly to the finished greenhouse.
- Use scrap heat transfer foil to apply shine to the tacky glue on the greenhouse.

Forever Stamp Friend Card

For my last card, I meticulously built this Victorian greenhouse scene using the NEW Victorian Greenhouse Stamp & Die Bundle. I was inspired by vintage postage stamps to build this simple scene. I used this inspiration to my advantage with one of the Mega Stamp Frames Dies.
How to Make This Card
- Start with a Permanent Black Crisp Ink outline of the Victorian Greenhouse image stamped onto Spicy Yogurt Cardstock.
- Fill the greenhouse with the coordinating potted plant images.
- Stamp the roof solid images. Die cut the Victorian Greenhouse.
- Die Cut and stack the Mega Stamp Frame from white cardstock.
- Stamp on another background panel of Spicy Yogurt Cardstock with just the plant images. This will give the illusion of background foliage behind the greenhouse.
- Foam mount the greenhouse on top of the stamp frame and stamped foliage background.
