Vintage Galore Collection
‘Very Peri’ Pretty Color Palettes
I am making several crafty resolutions to keep things exciting for me and for you all. One of the easiest steps I’m making is experimenting with color mixing and interesting color palettes. For this card, I wanted to symbolize the parallels of change in the Pantone 2022 Color of the Year, Very Peri.
I featured this color in the petals of the Here For You flower image by mixing the dye from my Altenew Ink Pads. I used mixes of Tranquility and Rose Petal Dye Inks to get this blue with red-violet undertones.

Golden Days with Bright Peonies
This Golden Days Layering Stamp is absolutely gorgeous. I’m excited to pair this stamp set with other Altenew favorites like Beautiful Day and Peony Bouquet Layering Stamp Sets. The foliage images also help fill this overflowing arrangement.
I started with a creamy white base layer. Then I layered other red inks on top of this base for a high contrast red bloom. For the foliage I used the Jewel Tones 6 Mini Ink Cube Set. Then after die cutting my stamped images, I traced the white margin with my Jet Black Altenew Artist Marker.

Simple Shiny Sentiment Card
I featured two new items from the Vintage Galore Release. First is the beautiful Golden Days Hot Foil Plate. I replicated my favorite card from the Glint & Glimmer Collection featuring the Gilded Rose image. The gold foil resists ink blending, so I am able to use the layering stencils directly over the golf foil outline. I went in rainbow order around the peony.
I followed this Peony with coordinating splatters around the gilded image. Then I used Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp on top of the foil and the ink blending. This sentiment pairs perfectly with the mood of this card. I love that I have the Sentiment Strips 3 (as well as the first and second Sentiment Strips) in my collection.

Fantastic cards. The coloring of the last card is incredible, and I really like the size of the bloom.
